Kaighin and Daughter is a traditional family run butchers, fishmongers and delicatessen shop situated in the award winning village of Grayshott, on the borders of Hampshire and Surrey. It is owned by husband and wife team Kevin and Caroline Kaighin; they have run the business together for over 37 years. The Kaighins and their team pride themselves on their friendly and knowledgeable customer service, along with high standards of product presentation.
The Kaighin philosophy is to provide the finest quality products with complete trace ability, served by their experienced team of butchers. All their beef comes to them from Scotbeef; the supply chain is short and simple, and it is the same beef that goes into the products they make themselves. All their meat comes from accredited suppliers, and they know exactly what is in their sausages and burgers because they actually make them. The free range chickens come from Packington Free Range Farm and the sausages, like the traditional Herbie Sausage and the innovative Pork, Stilton and Celery sausage, have won awards at the Haslemere Food Festival.
They don’t just sell meat! They stock a wide and varied selection of produce. Pop in and have a look at their selection of fresh fish, and check out the deli counter – you’ll also see bread and preserves on their shelves.
If you are looking for help or inspiration, they provide friendly advice; or for something different choose from their range of speciality foods.
Only redeemable on fish items. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The Mustcard terms and conditions apply.

"We use Kaighin & Daughter butchers for our weekly shop and haven't found a better quality butchers around! The produce is incredibly good quality, and the butchers are very honest and knowledgeable when suggesting best cuts and giving cooking tips. The deli and chutney selection is also great, not to mention the locally sourced Biltong!"Isobel. S
"Popped in the other day for a couple of pork chops, which were delicious. While I was there, I picked up a packet of Florentines - which were also delicious! Didn't realise how much there is in the shop - definitely worth a look - there's the meat counter of course, there's also a deli counter, cheese, fish, and bread too!!"Julia. J
If you want consistently good quality meat, this is the place to shop. There's good cheese and fish and delicious properly made biltong which is a great little treat. Also, they have recently switched so all wrapping and bags supplied by the shop are recyclable which just another reason to shop there."Peter. S

"Such a fantastic scheme. As a business we have an offer on with the Mustcard which has given us a platform to reach more local customers. But more than that I have been personally using my card to shop locally in Haslemere and Midhurst. Some of the discounts are brilliant. The best part for me is the fabulous write ups on local shops and pubs that I otherwise would not have known about! We have visited so many new places because of the Mustcard, it has opened up our local area. I love scrolling through the business listings and exploring all the new places! Supporting the local independents, what could be better than that! Thank you Mustcard."May and Grace Bridal, Haslemere

In today’s fast changing world the things we value are shifting equally as fast. The move away from chain style shops and departments stores to online ordering for example. Within this the Independent shops have become the marker, not only for defining our towns, by giving them identity and individuality, but by increasing the sense of community. Supporting Independent small and family businesses keeps our towns alive. The Mustcard is a superb, affordable way for us to say ‘YES, we are in. YES we value and support our town’s individuality, it’s personality and it’s people’. The additional twist is that, in so doing, these amazing shops and their owners reward Mustcard Members with special discounts!! It’s a true win win!My Midhurst Life
