This wonderful example of Lythe Hill’s rich history fused together with a modern contemporary design, ensures a practical and stylish meeting space.

The Ivory Room is located opposite Lythe Hill’s reception area, it is a grand meeting space with high glass ceilings and exposed beams, giving you the feeling of being immersed in the hotel’s country surroundings. The Lythe Hill is a historic country house hotel, set in 20 acres of woodland on the slopes of the Surrey/Sussex Hills. The former farmhouse and outbuildings form a picturesque hamlet on the outskirts of the market town of Haslemere.

Today Haslemere, like Lythe Hill, remains relatively unchanged by the 21st century, retaining much of its historical charm. The main hotel comprises of converted farm out-building barns, cattle sheds, milking parlours and stalls. The listed Tudor Farmhouse dates back to 1475. Once the centre of a large estate, this is now the renowned Restaurant and it houses five individual bedrooms and suites.

Lythe Hill is an inspiring location for anything from an intimate private dinner to a grand social event or Wedding. They also host a wide variety of events throughout the year such as Tribute nights and Christmas parties, so invite your friends and family and enjoy a fantastic evening of entertainment. Lythe Hill also has a range of function rooms and meeting spaces, ideal for your business’s needs.

"In a beautiful location, this is a a lovely hotel. Scrupulously clean, well appointed room, great shower. But above all, outstandingly helpful and charming staff, who made me feel so very welcome, from reception to restaurant."

"We had such a fabulous experience going with 5 couples for a SPA night away. Everyone was so friendly and helpful looking after us all so well. I had a back massage that was far too relaxing.... The grounds are beautiful and great for a walk before dinner. Came away after having a lovely time and feeling very relaxed. Can’t wait to come back."

"We got married at Lythe Hill Hotel in June 2019 and had the most incredible day. The team made the whole process very easy, from our first viewing to the morning after the wedding, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, with stunning countryside views. We were lucky enough to have a sunny wedding day and chose to have our ceremony outside at the Pavilion by the lake. It made for a picturesque setting for our ceremony and photographs. Walking down the path seeing everyone waiting for me made the experience so much more special."

"Such a fantastic scheme. As a business we have an offer on with the Mustcard which has given us a platform to reach more local customers. But more than that I have been personally using my card to shop locally in Haslemere and Midhurst. Some of the discounts are brilliant. The best part for me is the fabulous write ups on local shops and pubs that I otherwise would not have known about! We have visited so many new places because of the Mustcard, it has opened up our local area. I love scrolling through the business listings and exploring all the new places! Supporting the local independents, what could be better than that! Thank you Mustcard."

May and Grace Bridal, Haslemere

In today’s fast changing world the things we value are shifting equally as fast. The move away from chain style shops and departments stores to online ordering for example. Within this the Independent shops have become the marker, not only for defining our towns, by giving them identity and individuality, but by increasing the sense of community. Supporting Independent small and family businesses keeps our towns alive. The Mustcard is a superb, affordable way for us to say ‘YES, we are in. YES we value and support our town’s individuality, it’s personality and it’s people’. The additional twist is that, in so doing, these amazing shops and their owners reward Mustcard Members with special discounts!! It’s a true win win!
